Hail loyal knights!

We're here with a status update:

1.) Obviously the books won't be shipping this month. Going back and redoing the art, does add several months to our time table. However, the dice are done at the fulfillment center. We're exploring print options that will let us get the book to fulfillment faster, so expect an update on that.

2.) The Adventures book is in layout. Our art director is going to review it once it's done and if we feel we need to redo some art to meet standards, we will be doing so.

Update on PALADIN

Hail, loyal knights!

We've heard your feedback and comments on the art inside PALADIN, and so, we've elected to acquire new art to replace some of the pieces inside the corebook. 

This will delay printing of the book a bit, and necessitate some changes to the physical upgrades to the book. 

Below are some rough sketches (these are not finals.)

Hail loyal knights!  

I come bearing glad missives from our lord and king, for on this day, he delivers unto you the greatest part of this Kickstarter bounty: The PALADIN Corebook PDF.  

This PDF will be distributed via DriveThruRPG. You will receive a complimentary copy link via email. Regardless of what email it comes in to, you can redeem it through any account of yours. 

However, continue to read, for full information. 

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Our layout artist, Aileen, worked some strange sorcery on this book, and when all was told and done, the corebook went from a 700 page manuscript to around 460 pages (give or take a few.)  

We were not expecting such a reduction in layout, and while the book has not suffered for it, it does through our stretch goal of two separate books into disarray.  

To that end, we've elected to modify that stretch goal. Instead of two books, we're going to put that money we earmarked for splitting the book into increasing the quality of the book. We're going to be adding Gold Edging, a Spot Varnish on the cover, and a Printed End Paper inside the corebook. All these upgrades will be added to the Episodes book as well.  

Additionally, on Friday (the 2nd), we'll be locking down the BackerKit. We will be charging your cards on the 2nd of March, so get any changes or upgrades to your BackerKit in before that Friday, and you'll be charged on Friday the 2nd!

Brief Update!

 As you can see by the image above, our proofs of the PALADIN and PENDRAGON dice came in! They look gorgeous. The symbols on the d20 replace the "1". 

Layout continues apace. We provided feedback last week on the first draft of the PDF, and we should have an update soon!

Layout Continues!

All the art is in, the text is all edited and we're laying out the book! The only item we're waiting on are the maps for the Adventure book, but those will be arriving very shortly and we can work around those doing layout until they come.

As a note: We'll be closing the BackerKit and charging cards at the end of February. We'll give an official date as we get closer so you have notice.
